The Space Station in Stuttgart offers a fully automated shopping experience. Via large ordering terminals in the modern lounge area, customers can select a wide range of food and non-food products and pay conveniently using contactless payment. The state-of-the-art robotic shop dispenses the selected items within seconds. Age verification is carried out automatically when required, enabling the secure, staff-free sale of age-restricted products around the clock.

The assortment includes to-go items such as sandwiches, snacks, smoothies and various beverages, as well as everyday grocery products including pasta, milk, eggs and a selection of drugstore items.

As part of the operational realignment, the Stuttgart location has been strategically further developed. The focus is on integrating the bk Robotic Store in its next expansion stage and on a clearly 24/7 self-service–optimized operating concept.

Comfort for Operators

The Space Station stands out thanks to numerous operator-focused advantages. Two separate dispensing compartments ensure that products are collected safely and hygienically at all times. Fully automated warehousing enables efficient order picking and real-time inventory management. In addition to the bk Robotic Shop, further vending solutions such as a pizza vending machine and a coffee machine are integrated.

Stock replenishment, lounge cleaning and technical service are handled by bk World’s permanently employed on-site service staff, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Beyond this, the Space Station offers a scalable and future-proof operating concept for high-traffic locations. Whether at fuel stations, in supermarkets or at transport hubs such as railway stations and airports, the modular system can be flexibly integrated into existing spaces and expands the offering with a 24/7, staff-free supply solution.
