New location, new country, new partner. The first bk World Lounge in Portugal has opened. And it has done so with a new international partner for the subsidiary of the bk Group from Middle Franconia, Germany.
The year 2025 brings more exciting news for bk World as it enters the final stretch. The IONITY charging park is located on the N8 in Portugal, near Óbidos, where guests have access to six fast charging points for vehicles with CCS connections and a charging capacity of 350 kW. As of this week, the charging park now offers even more.
More comfort for guests on site
The on-site offering is complemented by the new bk World Lounge. Designed in the IONITY brand, it offers electric car drivers a comfortable and clean place to stay while their car is charging.
A selection of snacks and drinks, delicious coffee, various seating options and a toilet make the charging stop a welcome break. There is also a pizza vending machine on site, which allows you to enjoy a hot pizza around the clock.

The lounge is now open to all guests around the clock.
