Enhanced Comfort for Charging Guests
With the new lounge, bk World is strengthening its presence along a highly frequented long-distance route in southwestern France. The site in Salon-la-Tour is accessible to all charging guests around the clock, making charging breaks even more comfortable. The air-conditioned lounge offers various seating areas, a selection of snacks and drinks, ice cream products, and sustainably produced coffee. The lounge also features a wheelchair-accessible restroom. In addition, a 24/7 pizza vending machine allows guests to enjoy a freshly prepared hot meal at any time. The aim is to complement the charging infrastructure with a high-quality and continuously accessible lounge experience.

About Electra
The technical infrastructure at the site is provided by the new partner Electra. The charging park features eight charging points with a capacity of up to 300 kW. Electra is already active in ten European countries and aims to install a total of 15,000 fast-charging points by 2030. The partnership combines bk World’s lounge concept with a pan-European growth strategy in the field of fast-charging infrastructure.
