Just in time for the start of the holiday season, bk World will open a new site in Münster that marks a first for the company: it is the first bk World Lounge to bring EnBW and Tesla together in one place. Twelve EnBW charging points with up to 400 kW and 8 Tesla V4 Superchargers with up to 250 kW are available here side by side. At Haus Uhlenkotten 28, in the car park of the ‘Möbel Höffner’ furniture store and just a few minutes from the A1, drivers will find a place to enjoy a relaxing charging break with added value.

This marks the first time the company has brought together two charging networks at a single location, both of which are contractually linked to bk World – an approach that is becoming increasingly important for further expansion. Münster is one of Westphalia’s busiest transport hubs and combines all the elements that make for a strong location: high footfall, a growing number of electric vehicles and a convenient location directly on the A1.

In the air-conditioned EV-Lounge, guests will find three fridges stocked with snacks and drinks, a freezer with a selection of different ice-cream flavours, and two toilets, one of which is wheelchair-accessible. Seating areas invite visitors to linger, whilst in the background the charging technology operates at up to 400 kW. Especially in summer, this turns a charging stop into a proper break.
