New bk World location in Bayreuth officially opened
Another bk World location was opened today, Tuesday, in Bayreuth. This means that drivers of electric cars in Upper Franconia can now also enjoy spending their charging break at a charging park of the future.
Located directly on the A9 motorway, e-cars with CCS connections from all brands can be charged at the new Tesla Supercharger park. Those waiting spend their charging break in a bk World lounge, where the waiting time becomes quality time.
bk World Bayreuth – the largest version of bk World
During the average 20-30 minutes charging time, visitors to the charging park can stay in the bk World lounge free of charge and wait there until their vehicle is fully charged. Bayreuth is currently home to the largest expansion stage of the lounge, identical in design to the Endsee site.
The waiting time flies by in the comfortable lounge, which is also accessible for wheelchair users thanks to the lift. A wide range of snacks and drinks are available from state-of-the-art vending machines. Of course, coffee thirsts are also quenched with tasty and sustainable coffee. If you want to use the time to work, you can do so in one of the soundproofed office corners. A games console is available for children of all ages.
Thanks to the large panoramic window in the lounge, the vehicle is always in view.
Around the clock
bk World is open 24 hours a day and can be entered without having to register separately. Thanks to automation and refrigerators with RFID technology, it is possible to operate even when there is no staff on site. The lounge is completely cash-free, payment is only possible by debit or credit card.
Hot food is also available. A pizza machine is located directly in front of bk World, which bakes and delivers freshly packaged pizzas within four minutes. Hungry customers can enjoy up to 6 different pizzas at any time of day or night.
bk World supports the Share Happiness Foundation
With each new location, bk World Deutschland GmbH supports the Share Happiness Foundation with a donation. The organisation builds hospitals and maternity wards in the mountain regions of Nepal. The donation cheque was presented not only by the bk World management but also by the godmother of bk World Bayreuth. The sponsor is Dr. Christine Theiss, who was born in Bayreuth and is known as a multiple kickboxing world champion and TV presenter.
The Mayor of Bayreuth, Thomas Ebersberger, was also present at the opening ceremony and showed his enthusiasm for the bk World concept.
