Another bk World location has commenced operations in Belgium. Situated along the E25, a key transport corridor towards Luxembourg, the Ardennes and further into France. The new bk World Lounge in Léglise complements a brand new fast-charging station from Fastned, a leading European fast-charging company with over 400 stations across Europe.

With this opening, bk World continues to expand its presence in Belgium. The company develops and operates modern lounge concepts at mobility hubs across several European countries, enhancing new and existing charging infrastructure with contemporary, high-quality facilities for travelers. Following Zonnebeke and Roeselare in Flanders, Léglise marks the first bk World location in Wallonia and the third location in Belgium realized in cooperation with Fastned.

Fastned’s mission is to accelerate the transition to electric mobility with developing innovative fast charging stations along highly frequented transport routes and is fully dedicated to offer electric drivers a welcoming environment during the 10 to 15 minutes needed to charge up to 300 km of range. 

The Léglise site adds eight ultra-rapid 400 kW CCS charging points as well as two 50 kW CHAdeMO charging points to the Fastned network. Located at Rue de Kaine 2, just a few minutes from the motorway, the lounge combines high-performance charging infrastructure with a comfortable seating area, clean and modern sanitary facilities, and a wide selection of snacks, beverages and coffee specialties.

The Léglise site marks another milestone in the collaboration between bk World and Fastned and further strengthens their presence along key transport corridors in Belgium. The lounge is now open to all electric vehicle drivers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
