Thanks to its direct proximity to the A4 motorway, the lounge serves as an ideal stopover for travelers in both directions. The charging infrastructure on site includes four CCS charging points with up to 400 kW.

While Fastned is establishing the location as a high-performance fast-charging hub, bk World complements the offering with a premium lounge and rest area. Fastned operates more than 400 fast-charging stations for electric vehicles along major transport routes across Europe and is known for its dedicated focus on electric mobility infrastructure. Since 2022, the Middle Franconian company bk World has been developing and operating complementary lounge concepts at mobility hubs, enhancing existing charging infrastructure with modern and comfortable spaces for travelers.

In Gummersbach, this creates a location that combines charging infrastructure with a high-quality stay experience, offering drivers a comfortable place to take a short break during the approximately 15 to 20-minute charging session. Guests can enjoy a climate-controlled lounge area with a selected range of snacks, drinks, and coffee, as well as clean and hygienic sanitary facilities. The offering is complemented by a 24/7 pizza vending machine, providing travelers with a hot meal around the clock.
