Tesla is installing eight charging points at the site, contributing its global expertise in building high-performance fast-charging infrastructure. The hub will be further complemented by additional charging solutions from Allego, Electra, and the municipal utility company of Willich. In total, 50 charging points will be available, including numerous DC fast chargers with outputs of up to 400 kilowatts. With a total charging capacity of 4,600 kilowatts, the site is set to become a key hub for electromobility in North Rhine-Westphalia.

With the new lounge, bk World is creating the ideal complement to this high-performance charging infrastructure. Modern electric vehicles typically require 15 to 25 minutes to charge their batteries up to 80 percent. During this time, the bk World Lounge offers a comfortable environment featuring sanitary facilities, including an accessible restroom, seating areas, a coffee machine, and refrigerators stocked with a wide selection of snacks, beverages, and ice cream. The offering is further enhanced by a 24/7 pizza vending machine, providing guests with a hot meal at any time. The fully automated lounge concept ensures a seamless and convenient experience around the clock.

The location along the A44 connects several economically strong cities in the region and offers ideal conditions for a high-traffic charging hub. Münchheide V is thus evolving into a key infrastructure site for sustainable mobility. With its lounge, bk World positions itself as a service-oriented partner within this forward-looking project, combining efficiency, comfort, and modern technology.
